Jimboy`s in Elk Grove

From Southern California where theres an abundance of Mexican food all over. All this Tacos are delicious. My favorite is to order a plate of two tacos with a fish taco on the side. Overall their service is pretty responsive and attentive. Every time I come up here Jimboy's is a must!!

Loved jimboys in the past. This location I've gone to twice, both times horrible customer service. Last time was on 1/5, the girls working clearly aren't capable of doing this job. No one had any idea what was going on, I was asked twice what I ordered. .....and you want $15 per hour.....

I tried one of their specials, taquitos, they were good I haven't been back so I really cannot say how this place rates but their bathrooms were extremely dirty, their employees seem to be good, when I told them about the bathrooms immediately they got someone to go take care of them. And I like that. when I told the people about how bad the McDonald's bathroom was when I was visiting McDonald's in Moreno valley they didn't do anything about it they didn't call anyone and the whole place was a whole mess so I really appreciate clean restaurant, and this place seems to be clean. my feeling is that they make enough money from the public to hire someone to keep their bathrooms clean as well as the outdoors.

I'm always up for Jimboy's Tacos! They're all great but rolled ground beef tacos and the taco burger are stand outs for me. Love this place.

Bought a burrito bowl. Ordered it with no beans or rice, but extra meat & sour cream. Totally expected to pay extra for the extras. What I ended up with was an almost $11 dinner salad. No cheese, little meat (glad I ordered extra or wouldn't have been able to find any, but it was swimming in sour cream). The contents didn't even make it to the top of the bowl. Next time, I'll go to Super Taco.

Good food. Not the best place for authentic Mexican food but if you want just some Mexican styled food, this is the place. Pretty average for Mexican food.

One of my favorite places to eat when I am in the area. I remember when a JimBoy was in my city. It didn't last long. Too bad. The best food to get when you feel like Mexican fast food. Beats Taco Bell hands down.

Jimboy's located in the rear bldg at the corner of Marconi & Eastern is one of the fastest & makes the best tasting beef tacos in & around Sacramento area. This is one of their newer locations & it's not highly visible but well worth the visit! You won't be sorry.

A long time favorite w authentic Mexican food and decor. The fish tacos are perfect. All food here is great. Very clean. Good location, close to Nugget grocery store, Rite Aid.

Great food, always get great service here. Usually get the ground beef tacos and bean burritos, occasionally might get the cheeseburger. Best fast food Mexican place in Elk Grove and South Sacramento area.

The hubby has always loved their tacos and I'm happy to say they now serve healthier options...My avocado salad was excellent. This location's drive through is efficient and friendly

Elk Grove Blvd Jimboys is the best Jimboys Restaurants in the complete chain of Jimboys Restaurants it has the best employees and service.

Beautiful most beautiful food ever made

Tacos weren't crispy like I had at the Roseville location. Meat was dry. Enchilada, rice, beans were tasteless. Barely any cheese on/in anything. I was looking forward to hot, crispy tacos. Came from Lodi. Won't be back to this Elk Grove location. One thing positive, preparation was fast.

Love the tacos... best kept secret in Sacramento.. it's all about the parmesan!!

Not the jimboys it used to be. Bring back the ranchero sauce! If you dont know where to get it, call the one on Fruitridge, or Folsom, or in Roseville.

I grew up on Jimboy's and so I always have to have it. No Jimboy's in the Bay Area so every time I come up to Sac or just feel the need, I stop by this location in Elk Grove since it's right off the freeway when I do take 99.Can't tell you much about the drive-in as I always order and eat inside with my family. Great staff, clean restaurant and the food is still made like it was back in the day if not better. Menu prices have obviously changed and unfortunately no Horchata here but that's really not what to come for. It's all about the original beef tacos. Period. I'll knock a few down after my enchiladas then order 2 dozen more to bring home and eat when those cravings kick in.If you've never had a Jimboy's taco, try it! Nothing like it and you'll probably keep coming back like everyone else.... Jimboy-oh-boy!!!

I never knew how much I loved Jim Boys until I moved south where they don't have them.Their tacos are delicious and different than any other place in the state.

American Tacos, I love the El Gordo Tacos, I can't get enough of them! These are nothing like Taco Truck Taco's, they have a flavor all of their own. Once your hooked, your hooked for life. I've been eating these Tacos since I was a kid growing up in Sacramento. 5 stars all the way since day 1.

Hands-down best Mexican fast food I've had! I had original ground beef tacos and my wife had enchiladas. The tacos were top-notch and incredibly addictive. The enchiladas were good and held their own against lower tier sit down restaurants. Clean dining room and fast friendly service to boot. I wasn't expecting much going there for the first time, but now I'm a fan!

The carnitas burrito was delicious but that's all it was just meat, I thought I seen more in the picture. Their tacos are a MUST TRY. Tacos were my reason for going but had a long drive so ordered more. This location has the best bean and cheese burritos I've had since 10yrs ago when I lived in another city. Would've got 5 stars if they offered custard filled churros because we remember them as always being cream filled or maybe they don't have them anymore. Also would have prefered a friendlier drive thru employee. She wasn't rude just had a 'Don't want to be here' quiet attitude. Which made us want to get our food quicker and leave. But we know what it's like working in customer service and food service, it's draining.

I absolutely love Jimboy's Tacos. I stop here every time I go to California to visit family. Great Amercan tacos!

For the most part it's clean and employees are friendly, the food is good also cooked to order. And they have fresh salsa.

Got 4 chicken tacos at the drive thru. I think they are precooked shells when you go thru the drive thru. Next time I'll go inside.

If we are in the area of Jim boy's,we have to eat there. The food met the great Jimboy's standards.The beef tacos are always a must and they were awesome.Had the ground beef burrito for the first time and this too will be a must along with the tacos every visit. Very friendly employees and great service.Drink fountain for free refills too.
